A bit about me
I am a counsellor who believes deeply in the power of meaningful connection and self-awareness. Life brings change, uncertainty, and challenges that can feel overwhelming at times, and I see therapy as a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself in a supportive and compassionate way.
My approach is shaped not only by my professional training, but also by my own lived experiences. My immigration process has had a profound impact on me, both personally and professionally. Navigating life between cultures has influenced the way I understand identity, belonging, loss, resilience, and transformation. It has also shaped how I accompany others who are going through transitions, questioning who they are, or redefining their place in the world.
As I continue my own journey of growth, I have observed how my relationships have evolved alongside me. This ongoing process has deepened my understanding of relational patterns, boundaries, and emotional responsibility, and informs the way I work with clients in a thoughtful and relational way. I continue to explore and cultivate harmony between the two cultures I live in, recognizing this as an ongoing, meaningful process rather than a destination.
Having lived in several countries, including Mexico, Germany, and France, I bring a multicultural and nuanced perspective to my work. My professional experience includes therapeutic work with children, adolescents, and adults, as well as work within social reintegration settings supporting adolescents, women, and children. These experiences have shaped my practice to be culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive.
At the core of my work is a commitment to compassion, collaboration, and respect. I believe each person has the capacity for growth and change, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they navigate their process at their own pace.
